Firefox Rapid Google Tip:
Access a google search using your address bar without any plugins.
This tip applies to the firefox browser.
Set the key word to 'g'
Replace the word KEY with %s in the location field.
Hit OK. You are ready to query google faster than ever.
In your address bar type 'g outwardmotion' and press enter.
You can now instantly query google for your favorite things!
Try this for other sites like ebay, amazon, dictionary, google maps, google image, etc...
- Go to google, http://www.google.com
- Search for the word KEY
- Bookmark the page, name it google
- Open the properties for the google bookmark you just created (bookmarks -> manage bookmarks, or right click on new bookmark in bookmark menu).
Set the key word to 'g'
Replace the word KEY with %s in the location field.
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=KEY&btnG=Google+Search
becomes:
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=%s&btnG=Google+Search
becomes:
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=%s&btnG=Google+Search
